Rtx-Wax柱子是由特殊的Crossbond®Carbowax® 聚乙二醇（PEG）固定相所组成的，是目前应用的PEG柱子中惰性和效率都较出色的一款。Rtx-wax柱是目前的惰性和柱效的聚乙二醇色谱柱。扩展的工作温度范围可分析绝大多数的挥发性性化合物，并确保在高达250 °C的温度下确保低柱流失。对于中等强极性化合物来说选择性优于其他聚乙二醇柱。选择性数据符合要求。
