压力表用夹层玻璃表盖是两片或数片浮法玻璃中间夹以强韧PVB（乙烯聚合物丁酸盐）胶膜，经热压机压合并尽可能地排出中间空气，然后放入高压蒸汽釜内利用高温高压将残余的少量空气溶入胶膜而成。夹层玻璃安全性高，由于是中间层的胶膜坚韧且附着力强，受冲击破损后不易被贯穿，碎片不会脱落，与角膜紧紧地粘合在一起。夹层玻璃与其他玻璃相比，具有耐震、防盗、防弹、防爆的性能。

Laminated Glass for Pressure Gauges (Safety Glass)

Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. 

In the event of breaking, it is held in place by an interlayer, typically of polyvinyl butyral (PVB), 

between its two or more layers of glass. The inside air between the glass will be discharged by the thermo compressor as more as possible. 

The left air between the glass lenses will be dissolved in the film after we put the glass into the autoclave. 

The interlayer keeps the layers of glass bonded even when broken, and its high strength prevents the glass from breaking up into large sharp pieces. 

This produces a characteristic cracking pattern when the impact is not enough to compley pierce the glass. 

Compared with other glass, it shows better performance of shatter-proof, prevention of burglary, bullet proof and explosion proof.
