产品介绍 Sorting nexin (SNX) proteins are members of a large family of hydrophilic PX (phospholipid-binding motif) domain-containing proteins that interact with a variety of receptor types. SNXs are widely expressed, although the tissue distribution of each SNX mRNA varies. The ability of SNXs to bind specific phospholipids, as well as their tendency to form protein-protein complexes, suggests a role for these proteins in cellular membrane trafficking and protein sorting. SNXs may also function specifically in pro-degradative sorting, internalization, endosomal recycling or simply in endosomal sorting. SNX11 (Sorting nexin-11) is a 270 amino acid protein that contains one PX domain and is likely involved in several stages of intracellular trafficking.

产品介绍 Two related proteins, TRAF1 and TRAF2 (TNF receptor-associated factors 1 and 2, respectively), form a heterodimeric complex that associates with the cytoplasmic domain of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor type 2 (1). A third member of this family, TRAF3 (also designated CD40bp or CRAF1) associates with the cytoplasmic domain of CD40 (2). Additional membersof the TRAF/CRAF family of signaling intermediates include TRAF4 (also designated CART1), TRAF5 and TRAF6 (3-5). TRAF4 associated factor 2 (TRAF4-AF2), also designated sorting nexin 6 (SNX6), is a member of the sorting nexin family of molecules, which are widely expressed and associate with various receptor (6).
Function : Snx6 is a member of the sorting nexin family. Members of this family contain a phox (PX) domain, which is a phosphoinositide binding domain, and are involved in intracellular trafficking. This protein associates with the long isoform of the leptin receptor, the transforming growth factor-beta family of receptor serine-threonine kinases, and with receptor tyrosine kinases for plaet-derived growth factor, insulin, and epidermal growth factor. This protein may form oligomeric complexes with family member proteins through interactions of both the PX domain and the coiled coil regions of the molecules. Translocation of this protein from the cytoplasm to the nucleus occurs after binding to proviral integration site 1 protein. This gene results in two transcripts encoding two distinct isoforms.
